We saw them once at the troubador and it was a great show. I shook Omar Rodriguez-Lopez’s hand after the most awkward introduction I could muster.

The show starts at 8:00 with Warpiant opening followed by Foreign Born.

Before everyone here starts with their usual nonsense about how the Capt. AK is too obsessive with particular bands and gets stuck going to too many of the same band over and over. BLAH BLAH BLAH. Sue me. The truth is as many of you all who are close to me know I have been hoping to intern/get-my-foot-in-the-door in event promotion/”working in the industry”. Well, Ashley Eckenweiler (known to many of you as “The Event Promoter”) is currently handling the PR for the band WEAVE! so I figure it would be good to make an appearance. And of course, WARPAINT will be playing as well which is like finding that extra bit of chocolate at the bottom of the cone while eating a Drumstick.

Please let me know if you are interested. I will be heading up there at 9:00 after the usual monday dizzle.
