Bruce: Blitzen Trapper is from Portland, OR. Now I’m beginning to hate every band from Brooklyn just because they’re from the east coast hipster hot spot, but so far so good for our side of the country: Portland is where it’s at my scarves and skinny jeans wearing friends!

Bobby has finally given me a tiny bit of say on upcoming shows (otherwise, God knows how many times we’d see The Dodos!) and I can safely assure you – BT is the real deal.

I recommend buying their new record Furr and illegally downloading Wild Mountain Nation. It’s what I like to call the buy one, steal one deal.
