Yeah, good call on The Fall. They have, I dunno, like a million albums so if you like might I suggest the 10,000 Fall Fans Can’t Be Wrong compilation.
Funny you mention, because yesterday I did a write-up on These New Puritans, which take their name from a track on The Real New Fall LP, in which I quoted John Peel talking about Mark E Smith’s band: Always different, always the same.
Hmm. Okay, I guess it’s not that interesting, but y’know small world…

you introduced THE FALL? maybe to all the trendy indie-rockers who don’t know shit but in reality it was JOHN PEEL who introduced them over 30 YEARS AGO. Pavement? pfft…
