it does seem too good to be true…

Okay I finally had a chance to sit back down at a computer. Like I mentioned to you earlier, people make posters exactly like this all the time. I’ve seen numerous numerous posters exactly like this one. Here’s a couple I found in just a couple minutes, I just didn’t feel like browsing all the threads looking for more fan wish lists:

EDIT: haha on second view I noticed the last link I put is the same exact poster you posted.

Yeah that lineup is way to good to be true thom yorke, daft punk, pavement, massive attack, white stripes, deadmau5, and LCD soundsystem give me a break tickets would be $500-900 dollars for three days lol.

I’d an exception to my No Festivals rule if half that lineup comes to fruition. Who wants to share sleeping bags with me?!

You guys all have to realize that like any music festival they only choose talent that has new music (as in a new album release) within the past 8 months. Stagecoach isn’t going to sign on with anything else and never seem to do unless they happen to be a re-uniting band for a headliner. So prob not !!!, & Orbital had been playing European festivals this summer, but that was 6 months ago, probably not, but who know??? As for Daft Punk, they had them in 2007 and nothing new has come of the group as well as them on the mainstage??? If you missed them in the tent that year, it was sad u did:) Think too, when have you ever seen the same band/artist 2 years in a row in the coachella lineup. Never. If a band was there last year, they aren’t going to be there again… no matter how badly you want them to be. Think of this year as the following possibilities (and definately Coachella style) as a starter…
Vandaveer
The Atseroids Galaxy Tour
Imogen Heap
Empire Of The Sun
Major Lazer
Snoop Dogg
Bravery
Lady Gaga
Muse
Phoenix
Pixies
David Guetta
The XX
Little Boots
Zoe
Spinerettes
Black Eyed Peas
Jokers Of The Scene
Stone Temple Pilots
These aren’t all bands I WANT to see this year but more than likely If you hear the norm Coachella style we’ll be seeing them here.
Can’t wait until January for the real line-up. Hope to see you guys there.

Hate to tell you man, but there have been Coachella vets that have shown two years in a row, I know Perry Ferrall has performed at nearly every event.
And I am not too sure what gave you the idea that Goldevoice chooses talent that has had a new album within 8 months. Just off of the top of my head I can tell you plenty of performances I saw last year did not have a new album. (edit: I just noticed you said “headliner” or a “re-uniting band for headliner”, I stand corrected)
My Bloody Valentine
Paul McCartney (unless you count a live album release, which is not new music) (I admit I did not see him perform)
Throbbing Gristle (only caught about 15 minutes of it, wish I stayed the whole time)
Chemical Brothers
Ghostland Observatory
The Presets
I’m sure there were more, and that was just last year.
And Daft Punk is doing their whole Tron thing and rumor has it their new album is basically done. I did see their pyramid performace a few years ago in the Sahara and it was FANTASTIC.
Anyways. Thats a nice little grab bag mix of a wish list you got, I’d be down to catch plenty of them there.
Can’t you just picture The XX getting the prestiged slot of the outdoor side stage during sunset…? GOD that would make my year.

It looks like a dream lineup, but it has to be fake. Wolfmother would be printed higher in the lineup if it was real. Also Jack White is still touring with the dead weather right now. They are playing at new orleans jazz fest this may. Them Crooked Vultures would also be in a bigger font.

@John
That’s not true. They had rage on there and they haven’t put out an album for quite sometime.

Lol font size of the certain bands wouldn’t determine if the post is real or not lmao

OH I’D LOVE TO SEE LADY GAGA AT COACHELLA!!!
January 12th, 2010 at 9:25 pm
wow, that would be amazing but it’s not gonna happen.
I have a good feeling Daft Punk will be there, and that’s all I care about!
January 14th, 2010 at 11:30 pm
Nice, but where is MUSE?
January 18th, 2010 at 6:16 pm
