On Tour: Warpaint at the Hammer Museum, 7/16
We saw them once at the troubador and it was a great show. I shook Omar Rodriguez-Lopez’s hand after the most awkward introduction I could muster.
The show starts at 8:00 with Warpiant opening followed by Foreign Born.

Wow, for having seen them only a handful of times and listening to them, what, a year ago…that opening of elephants floods me back to spaces in my head that seem WAY longer than a year ago.
And goodess, I feel like they took this song to a new place around the 2:15 mark.
Grand post, shabbaz.

Its hard to believe what we have all experienced in last year music wise…most of us have seen My Bloody Valentine twice since then…
As for warpaint, I love seeing them as an opener or a headliner for that matter. Warpaint is one of those bands that is always at least decent to view live…it will be better than staying home and watching the latest sitcom from NBC.
