At first I thought JR is average garage rock bollocks, then I thought he’s brill, and now I’m somewhere in-between. He’s good. He deffo knows how to pen a tune and then get creative with it. (Like putting an acoustic guitar in a the mix!)
He and Bradford Cox swapped songs on a split 7″ and Cox’s was deffo the better of the two…but yeah, well cool. Blood Visions and then also JR’s singles comp (who has singles comp’s after only 2 years?!) are both worth getting.
