It’s a viola
There were books and art and music and people, and the rain.
On Friday night, the Capt., JP, and I headed down to my favorite local bookstore,
{open} for an intimate musical performance by Anni Rossi. The show was put on by Outsider Folk, a group seemingly after our own hearts. Mycroft Holmes and Whitman opened for Rossi, and we enjoyed an unscheduled performance by a member of Starburst Crystal Ensemble.
She did things with a viola I’ve never seen before and managed to create a beat by stomping her foot on the stage; she worked it.
*She also played a cover of Ace of Base’s “Living in Danger.” Seriously. And it was good.
